We support families with a full suite of services that make school life easier, healthier, and more enriching—from extended care and academic support to free meals and family resources. Most services are free, and many are powered by trusted community partners.
Before & After School Care
We offer flexible care to help families manage busy schedules.
- Free before care starting at 6:30am, Monday-Thursday, grades K-3 (sign-up required)
- Free after care until 5:00pm, Monday-Thursday, grades K-3 (sign-up required)
- Daycare transportation partnerships available with Truly Gifted and the OCEC Program (fees may apply)
Counseling
Students receive support from our school-based mental health team through HWS Health Counseling.
Family Resources
Our on-site Willow Closet is stocked with essential items to support families throughout the year.
- Hygiene products, uniforms, coats, household items, and more available monthly
- Parents can sign up to shop starting in December, based on need
- University Settlement
- Care Alliance (dental, vision, doctor, etc)
Food Services
Our school ensures every student is well-nourished and ready to learn by providing hot, home-cooked meals prepared daily in our on-site kitchen. Through our partnership with SLA, free breakfast and lunch are available to all enrolled students every day.
Tutoring, Saturday School & Summer Programs
Academic support is woven into each day and extended into afterschool hours.
- OCEC will take the children to their facility to tutor.
- University Settlement provides tutoring for grades 3-8
Transportation
Yellow bus transportation is available through CMSD for students in grades K–8 who live within a 1–3 mile radius. Learn more on our Transportation page.
