Akia Harper-Sheppard brings more than 15 years of educational experience and a strong commitment to helping every student succeed as Principal of Broadway Academy at Willow. Mrs. Harper-Sheppard earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Central State University and her Master's degree in Special Education from Notre Dame College. She began her career as a Physical Education teacher before serving as an Intervention Specialist, Manager of Behavioral Services, and Assistant Principal. These diverse leadership experiences have given her a well-rounded understanding of supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. Her passion for education is rooted in the belief that every child deserves an adult who believes in their potential. She is dedicated to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff while creating a safe, supportive environment where students are challenged to achieve their very best. As Principal, Mrs. Harper-Sheppard's vision is to create a school where every student feels valued, inspired, and prepared for success. She is focused on strengthening academic achievement, improving attendance, fostering meaningful family partnerships, and building a culture where excellence, respect, and high expectations are at the heart of everything the school does. Outside of school, Mrs. Harper-Sheppard enjoys spending time with her family. She is a proud sports mom who loves cheering on her children at soccer, football, basketball, and track events, and she enjoys creating lasting memories with her family. Mrs. Harper-Sheppard is honored to serve the Broadway Academy at Willow community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to help every child reach their full potential.

Nova O’Callaghan joined Ohio College Preparatory School in 2022 with 27 years of experience as an educator, including 17 years working in school administration. She is a warm and welcoming school leader with a strong reputation for supporting students and families, and a vision for engaging students in deep and rich learning opportunities. Prior to joining ACCEL Schools, Ms. O’Callaghan served for nine years as principal at Eagle Elementary School, a public charter school in Akron. She holds double Bachelor’s degrees in Teaching and in Education from the University of Western Sydney as well as a Master’s degree in Education from Australian Catholic University.
